Spring made its official arrival this week. This week trees have burst with pink and white blossoms, birds are singing in the early morning hours, and sandals are being pulled out of the closet instead of boots. Spring used to be a dreaded season for me. Growing up in TX, spring meant crazy weather and tornado watches, and for my timid young self, that was far from my ideal. No longer, though. Spring has found its place in my four season loving heart. Welcome, Spring, with your perfect breezes, your deep blue skies, your iced coffee, and those rolling thunderstorms.

I leave you with.........

..........a few of my favorite things..........

our favorite Gaines have written a book, The Magnolia Story, and it's available for pre-ordering now.

this brass desk lamp for my little workspace.

I had coffee at a friend's house yesterday and she had made these Oatmeal Breakfast BarsI devoured 3. And then she sweetly sent a whole lot home with me. *note: she used craisins and pecans instead of walnuts.

I am eager for the arrival of a JCrew package. It shall contain these darling Leopard Calf Hair Seaside Sandals.

This handmade sign to lean up in the corner of AK's bedroom. She really is our little adventure.

AK has been asking me if she can get some "workout" clothes. "To match you mama." How can I not satisfy that request?

The products at Artifact Uprising. I'd like the whole kit n' caboodle.

Lucky Charms Guinness Brownies. That is all.

My sweet sister shared this blogpost by Gloria Furman. "We mothers think we are the ones who are serving, but we are actually the ones who are being served as God uses motherhood to make us more like His Son." Oh what a challenge to my heart and mind!

I hope that you all have the most beautiful weekend, with all the perfect spring bits dotted throughout.

Happy Friday, lovelies!
